PlayStation 4 Unlocks Early Part of Divinity: Original Sin II

Larian Studios has announced a new bonus for PlayStation 4 owners who pre-order the digital release of Divinity: Original Sin II. Those who do will be able to immediately access the first Act of the game, which contains around twenty to thirty hours of gameplay. When the release date arrives on August 31, 2018, the rest of the game will become available and players can pick up where they left off. This bonus is in addition to Sir Loras, the Squirrel Knight, a quest line given to those who pre-order the game. The Xbox One version of the game has had these benefits since May.

Divinity: Original Sin II gives up to four players control of Godwoken, prophesied beings who may be capable of assuming the mantle of the Divine. Players will either be able to create their own characters or choose from six unique characters with pre-defined backstories. Original Sin II is currently available on PC with an Xbox One version arriving the same day as the PlayStation 4.
