Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity Makes Move to PC, Gets Launch Trailer

The Ankake Spa-developed Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity has now officially made the move to PC, courtesy of publisher XSEED Games. Beginning life in 2016 as a PS4 exclusive, the bullet hell action RPG now sports native 4K resolution as well as the all-new exclusive “Bullet Hell” difficulty to give new and returning players a greater challenge than before.

In Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity, players can take on the role of either Remilia Scarlet, the Scarlet Devil herself, or her devoted maid, Sakuya Izayoi. While on a fruitless hunt for a powerful yokai terrorizing the countryside, which she hopes will break the day-to-day monotony of being an immortal vampire, Remilia returns home only to find her manor in ruins, courtesy of the very yokai she was hunting. Now that it’s personal, Remilia and Sakuya devote themselves to hunting down this beast, encountering other familiar faces from the Touhou universe along the way.

Releasing on July 11, 2018, the game is available globally on Steam at a price point of $14.99/€14.99/£12.99, with a 10% discount during its launch week.
