God Wars 2 Announced

Kadokawa Games has officially announced God Wars 2, the sequel to 2017’s God Wars: Future Past. Alongside the announcement came the reveal of two new characters. Nakata Tekemi is the son of Okuninushi while the aptly named Orochi has inherited the spirit of Yamata no Orochi. The sequel’s story will focus on the “national defense” of Japanese mythology as the world transitions from a world of gods to a world of men.

As of this writing, there are no confirmed platforms for the title. God Wars: Future Past was originally released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with a Switch version of the game, titled God Wars: The Complete Legend, planned for September 4, 2018.
