Kingdom Hearts III Gets Piratical

During Sony’s E3 presentation, Square Enix provided another new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III. The latest video takes a look at other things than the previous two, initially focusing on the game’s Pirates of the Caribbean world and showing some gameplay from that, before moving into some story related scenes featuring Kairi and other characters. Square Enix also released a new batch of screenshots, viewable below.

Originally announced in 2013, Kingdom Hearts III is the third mainline game in the Kingdom Hearts series and once again follows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they travel to various worlds from Disney franchises. Square Enix recently revealed that Kingdom Hearts III will finally be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019, with the company announcing a couple of Deluxe Editions for the game during its E3 showcase. The latest trailer also came with the announcement of a bundle featuring Kingdom Hearts III plus the Kingdom Hearts HD collections — Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue — available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
