Familiar Faces Arrive for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Challenge Mode

A day after announcing the Torna ~ The Golden Country expansion for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nintendo also revealed some additional Expansion Pass content. The new content will be released along with the game 1.5.0 update tomorrow on Thursday, June 14, 2018, and lets Expansion Pass owners fight using Xenoblade Chronicles’ Shulk and Fiora as new rare Blades in a new Challenge Mode. The new mode provides players with some minor story content, loot, and tests of their skills as they fight off waves of enemies in order to complete the challenges.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is currently available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and is the third Xenoblade game, following Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X, though all of the titles are standalone.
