Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country Expansion Announced

During its E3 Direct presentation, Nintendo announced a new expansion for Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Torna ~ The Golden Country is a prequel expansion that takes players back into the past of Jin, Mythra, and Malos. The expansion will be released digitally on September 14, 2018, with a standalone physical version (though this appears to just be a package containing a download code) to be released on September 21, 2018.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is currently available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and is the third Xenoblade game, following Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X, though all of the titles are standalone. Was wondering what the additional adventure they revealed might be, didn’t think of this option but definitely looking forward to it, and struggling to not begin my replay ASAP 😛

FYI, looks like this is the one that’s included in the Expansion Pass.

I love this idea better than trying to add more story to the original game. It had plenty as is.
