Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles Now Available, Switch Version Dated

Anima Project’s Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles is now available for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in North America and Europe. The game is available digitally for $19.99, with a bundle also available for $29.99 on console (or $39.98 with a 37% launch discount on PC) that includes the game plus its predecessor Anima: Gate of Memories. In addition, the developer revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of the games will be released on June 29, 2018.

Anima: Gate of Memories was originally released in 2016 and is based on the pen-and-paper game Anima: Beyond Fantasy. Players control a pair of characters: The Bearer and Ergo Mundus, of whom only one is present in the world at a time. The two are members of a secret society known as Nathaniel whose job it is to rid the world of nightmare creatures. The Nameless Chronicles, meanwhile, is a prequel story from the perspective of the first game’s villain.
