Anima: Gate of Memories, The Nameless Chronicles Both Heading to Switch

Anima Project has announced that it will be bringing both Anima: Gate of Memories and its upcoming prequel Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles to Nintendo Switch. No date has been given for the two titles on the console, but it will be after The Nameless Chronicles releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 19, 2018.

Anima: Gate of Memories was originally released in 2016 and is based on the pen-and-paper game Anima: Beyond Fantasy. Players control a pair of characters: The Bearer and Ergo Mundus, of whom only one is present in the world at a time. The two are members of a secret society known as Nathaniel whose job it is to rid the world of nightmare creatures. The Nameless Chronicles, meanwhile, is a prequel story from the perspective of the first game’s villain. Players control an immortal known as the Nameless, who seeks his death after wandering the world for centuries.

[Update — release date was incorrectly stated as being in July instead of June]
