Ys VIII Switch Version Receives Western Dates

NIS America has announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana‘s Switch version will release in North America and Europe in the same week Japan. The game will be available for the system in North America on June 26, 2018, with the European release following on June 29, 2018 (the Japanese date is June 28, 2018).

The latest title in Nihon Falcom’s long-running action RPG series, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was initially released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017, with an updated localisation released via patch in January 2018. A PC release is also planned but has suffered various delays, with western publisher NIS America last stating that it hopes to release the PC version in April 2018. The Switch and PC versions will feature the same content as the PlayStation 4 version of the game, along with the updated localisation.
