Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (Feb. 8, 2018)
Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.
New Releases
- Dragon Sinker (PS4/Vita) (North America only)
- Dragon Quest Builders (Switch)
- Mercenaries Saga Chronicles (Switch)
* Unless otherwise specified listed releases above are available in both North America and Europe.
It’s a fairly quiet week ahead of the rest of February’s release rush. Kemco’s Dragon Sinker hits PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America, while both Dragon Quest Builders and the Mercenaries Saga trilogy hits Nintendo Switch in both North America and Europe.
Sales and Discounts
Diablo III on PS4 is the deal of the week for PlayStation owners in Europe, and it is joined by both an EA sale (including Mass Effect and Dragon Age titles) and a Games Under €5/£4 sale.
On the Xbox Store, a Ubisoft sale provides discounts on Assassin’s Creed Origins, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and Tom Clancy’s The Division, with Gold members also receiving a discount on The Surge.
Nintendo of Europe’s Share the Joy sale lets players get a discount on co-op dungeon crawler Enter the Gungeon, with Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle also on sale. In America, Golf Story, Heroes of the Monkey Tavern, and The Count Lucanor are on sale.
The current Steam sales include some good discounts, including The Witcher 3, Kingdoms of Amlur: Reckoning, and Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force, amongst others. GOG.com’s current sales include multiple Gothic titles, as well as, System Shock, Masquerada, and Tahira. Finally, The Humble Store also has a few smaller titles on sale.
