Underworld Ascendant Teases Development Progress

505 Games released a new teaser video for Otherside Entertainment’s upcoming revival of the Underworld series, Underworld Ascendant. The video features some comments from developers Paul Neurath and Warren Spector, and includes some new clips of gameplay shown at the recent PAX South event in San Antonio.

The Underworld series, a spin-off of the Ultima series, includes 1993’s Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss and 1994’s Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds. A sequel to those titles, Underworld Ascendant follows the Avatar as he returns to the Stygian Abyss and is set to be released for PC sometime in 2018.
