The Yakuza games have allowed players to beat up thugs and explore the streets of Japan for over 15 years. With a dozen different localized releases to choose from, RPGamer takes a crack at helping players figure out where to get into this unique series.

The remaster of the first game in the Yakuza series is now available on Xbox One. Yakuza Kiwami is available to purchase digitally and included on Xbox Game Pass.
During its X019 event, Microsoft revealed that the Yakuza series is coming to Xbox. Yakuza Zero, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will all be released on Xbox One early next year.
Microsoft is expanding the titles available through Xbox Game Pass. The games coming to the service in the next year include plenty of RPGs.
PC RPGamers can are now to check out the remake of the first Yakuza game. Yakuza Kiwami joins previously-released prequel Yakuza 0 on Steam.
PC RPGamers will be able check out the beginnings of Kiryu’s story soon in Yakuza Kiwami. Sega announced that the Steam version will be releasing next month.
Sega has announced that it will be releasing more Japanese titles on PC. Yakuza Zero, Yakuza Kiwami, and Valkyria Chronicles 4 join the previously-announced Shining Resonance Refrain and Shenmue I & II remasters.
