Langrisser II Story Trailer Introduces Its Cast

NIS America put out a new story trailer for Langrisser II, the second part of the upcoming Langrisser I & II remake collection. Langrisser II takes place 200 years after the first game, with the two-minute video introducing the game’s major cast members. The story sees players leading Elwin and his allies in a quest to find the Sacred Sword Langrisser and use it to stop those seeking to wield the power of the evil sword Alhazard.

The first Langrisser game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 in Japan in 1991 and brought to the west under the title Warsong. Langrisser II is set several hundred years after the first game, was originally released in Japan in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive, and later remade for the Super Famicom under the title Der Langrisser. The remakes include new graphics, voice acting, re-orchestrated music, and multiple quality-of-life improvements to the original release. Langrisser I & II will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 10, 2020, with the European release following on March 13, 2020.
