Jagex Partners with Snowcastle Games for Multiple Earthlock Titles

Publisher Jagex and developer Snowcastle Games have announced they are partnering for multiple upcoming releases. The partnership deal will cover three titles in the developer’s Earthlock series, starting with Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure and Earthlock 2.

Earthlock is a turn-based fantasy RPG originally released as Earthlock: Festival of Magic in 2016, before being relaunched in a new version as simply Earthlock. Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is inspired by Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley and is currently available on Steam Early Access. Players are put on a deserted island and tasked with exploring, gathering resources, and befriending wildlife while building up their own customisable hamlet. Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is expected to fully release in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Earthlock 2 is a direct sequel to the first game an is development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with no release window announced at this time.
