Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition Announced

Nintendo has announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition, a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of Musou-style action RPG Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which released for Nintendo Switch in 2020. The Definitive Edition will release on February 25, 2027, and include all of the original release’s Expansion Pass content, enhanced visuals and frame rate, more enemies on screen during battles, and a new challenging Calamity Mode. Those who own the Nintendo Switch version will be able to transfer existing save data and purchase the digital Nintendo Switch 2 version at a discount.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set 100 years prior to the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is developed by Omega Force and is an action RPG that allows players to pick between numerous characters who are tasked with battling waves of enemies.
