Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Shutting Down in October

Square Enix announced that free-to-play title Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will end service on October 6, 2026. Sales of in-game Red Crystals have ended, with any remaining Red Crystals in players’ possession able to be used until the end of service. In-game events and updates are planned to be released up until the end of service, after which account information will be deleted.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a single-player, chapter-based title. The game originally released for iOS and Android in September 2023, with a PC version following in December 2023. It covers key events from titles including the original Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, as well as new original content, including events focusing on a younger Sephiroth and that surround Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier.
