The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Announced

Nintendo announced a full remake of Nintendo 64 adventure title The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The remake is set to be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch later this year.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time originally released for Nintendo 64 in 1998, with a Nintendo GameCube version released in 2003 and a Nintendo 3DS remake released in 2011. The game was the first in the series to utilise 3D graphics. Its iteration of Link begins as a young boy living in Kokiri Forest, who is accompanied by the fairy Navi, and sets out on a quest to stop Ganondorf from obtaining the Triforce. The game sees Link travelling back and forth through time, with his ocarina playing an important role through magical songs that have various powers.
