Onimusha: Way of the Sword Shows Dohatsu-ten Boss Fight

During its latest Capcom Spotlight presentation, Capcom released new gameplay footage from action RPG Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The five-minute video, introduced by director Nihei Satoru, offers a quick overview of the game before showing a boss fight against winged warrior Dohatsu-ten.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is the first new entry in the series in 20 years. It takes place in an alternate dark fantasy Japan where samurai battle against the supernatural. The game follows Miyamoto Musashi, who is armed with a mystical Oni Gauntlet and battles demons invading Edo-period Kyoto. It will release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 25, 2026.
