Legend of Mana, Trials of Mana Available on GOG

Square Enix has released the PC versions of action RPGs Legend of Mana and Trials of Mana on GOG. Previously available on Steam, Legend of Mana has a regular price of $24.99 and Trials of Mana of $39.99, undergoing discounts of 60% and 70% respectively until June 8, 2026, as part of a wider Square Enix publisher sale.

Legend of Mana is the fourth game in the Mana series and was released for PlayStation in Japan in 1999 and in North America in 2000. The remastered version was released for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android in 2021 and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. The game sees players setting off into the world of Fa’Diel to find the Mana Tree, only to discover the world is empty. Players find special artifacts that can be placed down, adding new towns and dungeons, with the story changing based on player decisions. The remastered version includes the ability to switch between the original or a rearranged soundtrack, as well as the ability to turn off enemy encounters and a new Ring Ring Land mini-game.

Trials of Mana is a full 3D remake of Super Famicom title Seiken Densetsu 3, the third title in the Mana series. It released for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android in 2020 before coming to iOS and Android in 2021, and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. The game sees players selecting a primary protagonist and two companions from a roster of six characters before journeying through the Holy Kingdom of Wendel and engaging in action combat. The remake includes an additional post-game chapter that provides access to an extra set of character classes.
