Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity’s The Only Way Update Launching Next Week

ArenaNet announced “The Only Way”, its second major update for Guild Wars 2 expansion Visions of Eternity. The update adds in the next five chapters of the expansion’s story, taking players to the new Eternity’s Garden map. It also adds two new Mastery tiers, six new expansion relics, new legendary accessories, additional customisable elements in the Fashion Template, new Wizard’s Vault objectives, and a new raptor mount skin.

Visions of Eternity is the game’s sixth expansion and sees players investigate rumors of an island rich with magic known as Castora. The Tyrian Alliance learns that a group of researchers known to cause danger around Tyria called the Inquest is in search of this island. Players set off on a new adventure to try and learn what the Inquest’s goals with the island are. ArenaNet is planning one additional major update to complete content for the expansion, which is available for $24.99.

Guild Wars 2 is set 250 years after the events of the original Guild Wars. It was originally released in 2012, becoming available on Steam in 2022. The game and expansions are available as buy-to-play titles.
