Arknights: Endfield’s First Major Content Update Arriving Next Week
Gryphline announced the first major content update for free-to-play 3D strategy RPG Arknights: Endfield. The Version 1.1 update — titled “Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It is Denied” — will release on March 12, 2026. The update includes new operators Tangtang (6-star Caster) and Rossi (6-star Guard), new Hydro-Industrialization tech for the game’s factory automation elements, and new story content centred around the new Qingbo Stockade area in Wuling. There are also player reward and gameplay optimisation adjustments.
Developed by Mountain Contour, Arknights: Endfield is based on the popular Arknights mobile RPG/tower defence title, but tells a separate story. Players are tasked with surveying the unexplored wildlands outside of the colonies that are home to dangers and secrets while undertaking missions with real-time combat using a party made up of operators from the Protocol Field Recovery Department. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
