Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy Coming to Steam Next Month

Idea Factory International announced that Compile Heart and Sting’s dungeon-crawler Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy will release for PC via Steam on March 25, 2026. The PC version of the game — which released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in 2025 — will support English, Japanese, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.

Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy is the latest entry in the Mado Monogatari dungeon-crawler franchise that started in 1990, with the previous title being released in the west as Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God in 2013. It follows a girl named Fia, who has managed to enroll at the Ancient Magic Academy after making the long journey from her hometown. She aims to become a Great Mage but first must overcome the challenges of her schoolwork, professors, and certain odd happenings while trying to make friends.
