Towerborne Gets February Date, PS5 Version, No Longer Free-to-Play

Xbox Game Studios and Stoic announced that action RPG Towerborne will fully release on February 26, 2026. The game — which has been in Early Access to Founder’s Pack owners on PC and Xbox Series X|S — will also be released on PlayStation 5. In addition, the companies announced that it will no longer be released as a free-to-play title, and instead be sold for $24.99 for its standard edition and $29.99 for a Deluxe Edition that includes various in-game add-ons. The game will also no longer be fully online, allowing players to play solo offline.

Towerborne is centred around the Belfry, a tower that stands strong amongst the ruins of humanity and the City of Numbers. Players control an Ace, a fighter born to protect the people of the Belfry from the monsters lurking outside. They venture out into the world, solo or with up to three other players, fighting through enemies to complete quests and be able to upgrade their gear.
