Stoic Reveals Towerborne

Banner Saga series developer Stoic announced its newest title, action RPG Towerborne. The game is in development for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and is planned to be released sometime in 2024.

Towerborne is centred around the Belfry, a tower that stands strong amongst the ruins of humanity and the City of Numbers. Players control an Ace, a fighter born to protect the people of the Belfry from the monsters lurking outside. They venture out into the world, solo or with up to three other players, fighting through enemies to complete quests and be able to upgrade their gear.

Players are also joined by spirit Umbra companions, which they can recruit to gain access to their companions’ enhanced skills and unique abilities. Players can customise their Ace and their gear, with the game featuring four combat styles: War Clubs, Gauntlets, Dual Daggers, and Swords & Shields. The game will also include an evolving world map as well as seasonal content.
