New Release Round-Up (December 4, 2025)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column, we look to provide our readers with details on the major RPGs released this week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development. Pricing is shown in US dollars before application of any discounts, local pricing may vary.

Kingdom of Night

Action RPG Kingdom of Night is set in the year 198X, in a small town in Arizona, where a satanic cult has summoned the demon Baphomet. Players control unlikely protagonist John as he tries to save the town and rescue his friends from the impending demonic invasion. They are tasked with defeating demon generals in the order of their choosing, while taking on afflicted townsfolk, high school bullies, and evil creatures. Players can choose from five different classes (Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer, and Sorcerer), each with their own play style and skill trees. The game is playable solo or with another player in local co-op.

Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny

Co-op action RPG Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny sees a selection of Nickelodeon characters undertake a tabletop-esque fantasy quest. It sees players traversing fantasy lands inspired by Nickelodeon properties and engage in fast-paced combat using attacks and spells. The game features both solo play and local co-op for up to four players.

Octopath Traveler 0

Turn-based RPG Octopath Traveler 0′s story draws from that of mobile title Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Players control a created protagonist from the town of Wishvale. On the annual Day of Reverence festival, the town is attacked and engulfed in flames, setting the protagonist on the path of revenge or restoration. As players journey across the world of Orsterra on their quest, they form a party of eight members from a total of over thirty recruitable travelers.
