Cassette Boy Arriving on PC in January, Console Versions Revealed

Pocketpair Publishing and Wonderland Kazakiri announced that puzzle RPG Cassette Boy will release for PC on January 15, 2026. The game will be released on Steam, where a demo is currently available. In addition, the companies revealed that the game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch at a later date through Forever Entertainment.

Cassette Boy features pixel art and both 2D and 3D graphics and takes place in a world where the moon disappeared after the protagonist stopped looking at it. Players are tasked with finding the moon, which entails solving puzzles as well as collecting weapons and battling monsters and bosses. Puzzle solving requires players to rotate their point of view, with things that fall outside of the camera view ceasing to exist during that time.
