Cassette Boy Publisher and Release Window Announced

Publisher Pocketpair Publishing announced it is partnering with developer Wonderland Kazakiri to release puzzle action RPG Cassette Boy on PC. The title is expected to release later this year, with a demo currently available on Steam.

Cassette Boy takes place in a world where the moon disappeared after the protagonist stopped looking at it. Players are tasked with finding the moon, which entails solving puzzles as well as collecting weapons and battling monsters and bosses. The game features pixel art and both 2D and 3D graphics. Puzzle solving requires players to rotate their point of view, with things that fall outside of the camera view ceasing to exist during that time.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
