Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu Announced

During this weekend’s INDIE Live Expo presentation, publisher G-MODE and developer Acacia showcased visual novel RPG Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu. The 90-second trailer acts as music video, showing the game’s main characters, all of whom are members of fictional all-girl band Rag Drops.

Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu is in development for PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch, and is planned to release in 2026. It is available to wishlist now on Steam, with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options indicated on the Steam page.

The game follows the members of the group, led by vocalist Neon, who are accused of crimes after breaking out on social media. As suspicion clouds them, they appear to be taken into an alternate world dungeon by their smartphones. Players need to navigate this dungeon and defeat the monsters manifesting within, while speculating on the identity of the person behind it, who appears to be one of the members.
