MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Releasing in Europe, Americas This Year

Publisher A PLUS announced that it will be releasing MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance in Europe and the Americas later this year. The game, developed by Shanghai Bokura, is billed as a licensed expansion upon Blue Protocol, an MMORPG that was released in Japan in 2023 before shutting down in January 2025 with a planned western release cancelled. Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will be available as a free-to-play title on PC (via Steam and the Epic Game Store), iOS, and Android.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is set on the fantasy land of Magna on the planet Regnas, which in Blue Protocol was said to be ruled in the past by a group of god-like beings known as the Bapharian Divines and is filled with a mystical light known as Engram. It promises an open world filled with quests, dungeons, and raids. Combat is fast-paced and will let players swap combat styles at any time with players able to customise their characters. The game will support cross-platform play.
