Enter the Gungeon 2 Announced

During the latest Nintendo Direct, Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital announced Enter the Gungeon 2. The title will release in 2026 for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement came with the release of a teaser trailer that can be viewed below.

Enter the Gungeon 2 is a sequel to the 2016 bullet hell dungeon crawler Enter the Gungeon. The title is billed as featuring a new 3D art style and introducing new weapons, enemies, and gameplay mechanics. Returning elements from the first game include procedurally generated dungeons, the Gungeon, Gundead, and more. The roster of Gungeoneers will be comprised of new playable characters as well as characters from the first game. Players will be able to customise their Gungeoneers with passive items, explosive active items, blessings, curses, and weapons.
