XXX Nightshift Trailer Calls for Revolution

Developer Dark Math Games released a new trailer for its spiritual successor to Disco Elysium, choice-driven detective RPG XXX Nightshift. The minute-long video sees the narrator delivering a speech that invites listeners to join the revolution instigated by Xenia Titania, a prominent character in the game’s lore. It also reveals those pre-ordering the game through Xsolla will get an instant access to Xenia’s Speech digital comic, which tells the story of the revolution that took place thirty-five years prior to the game’s events.

XXX Nightshift features a sci-fi setting, taking place at World’s End Ski Resort on Mount Hope, Antarctica in the year 2086 CE. Players control a Patrol Op who becomes stranded at the resort alongside various guests and secrets. Players build a character by combining twenty “Traces” over four categories, and can elect to investigate solo or with a partner using the game’s companion dynamic. XXX Nightshift is set to release on PC via Steam, with no release date as of yet.
