Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Gets Overview Trailer

Nintendo and Monolith Soft released a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition ahead of the game’s release next month. The six-minute overview trailer gives a preview of character customisation, exploration on the planet Mira, the hub city of New Los Angeles, the real-time combat system, mechanical skells, quest missions, and online multiplayer.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was originally released on Nintendo Wii U and is separate from the other titles in the series, taking place in the year 2054 after humanity has fled Earth after being caught in an intergalactic war. Players control a customised survivor and member of the New Los Angeles (NLA) colony as it looks to establish a new home on the planet Mira. The Definitive Edition will release internationally for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025, including enhanced visuals, added story elements, and more.
