Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Trailer Teases New Content

Nintendo released a new trailer for Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. The three-minute video highlights the game’s premise as well as showing a mixture of gameplay elements including exploration, combat, and skells. It also teases some of the new story content added in the Definitive Edition.

In addition, Nintendo announced that those who purchase Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition through the Nintendo eShop, My Nintendo Store, or GameStop before April 6, 2025, will receive the Exploration Support Pack. The pack contains various in-game items including money, a ranged weapon, a melee weapon, selected armour, and selected augments.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was originally released Nintendo Wii U and is separate from the other titles in the series, taking place in the year 2054 after humanity has fled Earth after being caught in an intergalactic war. Players control a customised survivor and member of the New Los Angeles (NLA) colony as it looks to establish a new home on the planet Mira. The Definitive Edition will release internationally for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025, including enhanced visuals, added story elements, and more.
