Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 Launching Next Week

HoYoverse announced that its latest update for free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail will release on February 26, 2025. Titled “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne”, the update sees players continue on the Flame-Chase Journey into a brand-new map, the Grove of Epiphany, a city-state honouring Cerces, the Titan of Reason.

The update features two new playable characters, Tribbie and Mydei. Tribbie is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, while Mydei is a 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. Limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo will also return in the first and second half of the update’s Warp Event. Other new content includes a new season of Divergent Universe and the Awooo Firm event, where players act as a manager for a Chimera squad looking to change their fortunes.

Honkai: Star Rail tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets.
