Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Story DLC Dated
505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios have announced the release dates for the planned story expansions to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. There will be three story expansions, with the first to be released in a couple of weeks:
- The Chapter of Marisa (February 27, 2025) — Players learn more about Marisa’s journey as a Guardian, with the story focusing on Marisa’s encounter with a girl fascinated by ancient ruins who becomes her companion. It sees the two setting out to discover the secrets around the Child of the Rune.
- The Chapter of Seign (March 13, 2025) — Players witness Seign’s perspective, along with those who separated from Nowa’s group, during a certain predicament. It shows events that transpired in the empire during that time, as well as the roles taken on by the group.
- The Chapter of Markus (April 3, 2025) — Players follows Markus, Carrie, and Nowa after they discover an anomaly called Menhir’s Distortion, which has unlocked a mysterious teleportation gateway. They find new secrets, potential including details about Markus’s past.
Available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is developed by a team led by Suikoden series creator Yoshitaka Murayama, who sadly passed away shortly before its release. The game is set in the world of Allraan, with its history shaped by magical items called rune-lenses. It features HD 2.5D graphics with sprite-based characters and turn-based battles with six-member parties.
