Hyper Light Breaker Hitting Steam Early Access Next Month
Arc Games and Heart Machine announced that roguelite action RPG Hyper Light Breaker will release on Steam Early Access on January 14, 2024. The Early Access version will be available for $29.99, with the game expected to spend around a year in Early Access before fully releasing. A new five-minute trailer released alongside the Early Access date announcement features an overview of the game from Lead Producer Michael Clark.
Hyper Light Breaker is set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter but tells a separate story in a new land known as the Overgrowth. It features single-player and co-op multiplayer as players control Breakers looking to overthrow the Abyss King. While surviving the mysterious Crowns and helping develop their home settlement, players explore large biomes and pick up items and weapons to create their character builds.
