Hyper Light Breaker Early Access Pushed Back

Heart Machine and Gearbox Publishing announced a delay for action RPG Hyper Light Breaker. In a developer update video, Creative Director Alx Preston revealed that its Steam Early Access release is now planned for 2024. The game is expected to spend around a year in Early Access.

Hyper Light Breaker is set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter but tells a separate story in a new land known as the Overgrowth. It features single-player and co-op multiplayer as players control Breakers looking to overthrow the Abyss King. Players explore large biomes while picking up items and weapons to create their character builds while surviving the mysterious Crowns and helping develop their home settlement.
