Hyper Light Breaker Announced
Developer Heart Machine announced Hyper Light Breaker, a follow-up to its 2016 top-down action RPG Hyper Light Drifter. The developer is partnering with Gearbox Publishing for the game, which is currently planned to release for PC in 2023.
Hyper Light Breaker is a fully 3D action adventure RPG set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter but tells a separate story in a new land known as the Overgrowth. It features single-player and co-op multiplayer as players control Breakers looking to overthrow the Abyss King. Players explore large biomes while picking up items and weapons to create their character builds while surviving the mysterious Crowns and helping develop their home settlement.
