New Arc Line Details Technological Classes
Publisher Fulqrum Publishing and developer Dreamate Games released new details for the upcoming steampunk RPG New Arc Line. The companies introduced the three technological classes in the game’s fantasy setting currently in a supposed gilded age of magic and technology.
The three technological classes are Diesel Engineer, Steam Mechanic, and Tesla Scientist, with Diesel Engineer to be avaialble in the game’s initial Early Access release. Diesel Engineers are experts in firearms and creators of cutting-edge gadgets such as jetpacks. Steam Mechanics are very hands-on, using the strength of steam machines and gear such as exo-skeletons that enhance their physical abilities. Finally, Tesla Scientists look to control the mysterious power of lightning with various strange instruments and have been rumoured to be able to reanimate lifeless bodies.
New Arc Line is planned to release as an Early Access title on PC via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store on November 26, 2024. A full release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S is currently slated for late 2025. Players control a new customised arrival in New Arc, dubbed “The Shining City of Progress”, as they search for a cure to a fatal disease afflicting their family. Gender, background, and appearance options will affect how characters will react to them, with players also able to recruit a variety of party members and build relationships with them, including romance options.
