Tales of Graces f Remastered Trailer Teases Features

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the upcoming Tales of Graces f Remastered. The two-minute video teases some of the remaster’s changes and new features including destination icons, toggleable encounters, and battle retry option. It also gives a quick look at the game’s combat and the various pieces of DLC that will be included in the release. The full list of additions and changes in the remastered release can be found here.

Tales of Graces f was released for PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2010 and internationally in 2012, and is itself an enhanced version of Wii title Tales of Graces, which was released only in Japan in 2009. The game is set in the world of Ephinea and follows Asbel Lhant, a young noble who comes across a mysterious girl. After witnessing her apparent sacrifice, he comes across her once again seven years later as tensions break out between the world’s three main powers. The game utilises the Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System evolution of the Tales combat system family, which is based on using and replenishing Chain Capacity points for skills and actions, with the Graces f version also adding a “Lineage and Legacies” epilogue storyline. Tales of Graces f Remastered will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on January 17, 2025.
