Part 2 will add wandering swordswoman Asuka, with more details to be revealed at a later date. The update will also add ten new dungeons, five for each part. Example include the Forest of Frugality, where items are swapped with each floor; the Peach Trap Domain, which requires players to make use of traps and monster transformations; and a new highest difficulty dungeon in Soul of Serpentcoil Island.

In addition, Spike Chunsoft has released a third free update for the game. The new uspdate add three new dungeons available after clearing the main story, as well as a new Gear Rack item that lets players store, display, and take gear at any time.
