Shiren the Wanderer 6 Announced

Spike Chunsoft announced a new entry in the Shiren the Wanderer roguelike RPG series. Announced during yesterday’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, Shiren the Wanderer 6: Toguro Island Expedition Record is planned to release in Japan on January 25, 2024. No other details about the game have been released at this time.

Shiren the Wanderer is part of the wider Mystery Dungeon franchise, which sees players adventuring through dungeons in a turn-based manner. While other Mystery Dungeon titles involve licenced crossovers, Shiren the Wanderer features original characters, including its eponymous ronin. The first game, Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer, was originally released for Super Famicom in Japan in 1995.
