Metaphor: ReFantazio Prologue Demo Released

Atlus has released a prologue demo for Metaphor: ReFantazio. The demo is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It lets players go through the opening portion of the game, including its first four dungeons, and will allow players to transfer their progress to the full game when it launches on October 11, 2025.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is created by the team behind the Persona series. It is set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, which is made up of three constituent countries populated by eight different tribes. The game’s protagonist — accompanied by the fairy Gallica — is in the capital for the king’s funeral following his assassination, on a mission to save the crown prince from his current curse. However, in order to fill the power vacuum, a special spell is cast that announces a tournament for the throne, where the person who has earned the most faith of the citizens as of the October Day of the Hero will be granted the throne.
