Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Pushed to June
Level-5 announced that it has pushed back the release of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. Previously planned to launch later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, the game will now release in June 2025.
In addition to the new launch window, Level-5 also released a new trailer and provided details on some new features in the game. Bond Town will allow players to put objects and characters in their own personal town after obtaining them in other modes. Here players can play football or other mini-games with other players using their own avatar. This avatar can be trained and participate in matches in all modes of the game. Meanwhile, the game will also include a Commander Mode. Rather than control players directly, this allows players to assign roles, tactics, and more to their team through menu screens as they watch the game play out. Players will also have multiple ways to improve their team, including Team Passives, the Ability Learning Board, and Bond Links between characters.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road acts as a reboot for the series. Story Mode tells a new story following Destin Billows (Unmei Sasanami in the Japanese version), a boy who dislikes soccer and wishes to see it disappear, and Harper Evans (Haru Endo), a soccer star standing at the top of the world. Meanwhile, Competition Mode sees players able to form a team from the players that appeared across the series as they take the Inazuma V Caravan across time, battling teams from the past.
