Elements Destiny Showcases Its Gameplay

Publisher Deck13 Spotlight and developer ShrooMoon UG released a trailer for their upcoming RPG Elements Destiny. The minute-long video, viewable below, showcases snippets of gameplay including the combat and the exploration.

Elements Destiny takes place in Solitas, a fantasy world about to face the shadow crusade, a terrible threat that previously claimed countless lives. It follows the adventure of a young woman named Erika who sets out to find fellow descendants of the Clan of the Elements, the only people known to have the power to avert the incoming threat.

The game is billed as a retro JIGRPG (Japanese-Inspired German Role-Playing Game) featuring 2D graphics and handcrafted artworks, with an estimated playtime of 70 hours and a soundtrack of over 100 pieces. Each playable character has their special abilities and elemental powers that can be used in turn-based combat or to overcome various obstacles. A crafting system allows players to make their own weapons, potions, trinkets, and more.

Elements Destiny is in development for PC and unspecified consoles, with its release date being unannounced at this time. A demo of the game is currently available on Steam.
