Tales of Fablecraft Coming to Steam Early Access

Developer and publisher Riftweaver Game Studio announced that its debut title Tales of Fablecraft will come to Steam Early Access. The cooperative virtual tabletop RPG will launch in Early Access on July 23, 2024, with a demo currently available on Steam.

Tales of Fablecraft is set in the world of Mythas where fantastic beasts live and magic is a common occurrence. The game is billed as offering a more carefree experience compared to traditional tabletop games and features a comprehensive guide for the GM (game master). The Early Access version’s base content is free to play and includes the “Road to the Starfall Festival” adventure and 130 unique assets letting the player create their own adventures. Players will be able to purchase more adventures as well as cosmetics such as dice skins and player token skins. Tales of Fablecraft will be available for PC and Mac, with Android and iOS tablet support being added later this year and mobile support being planned for 2025.
