Fate Seeker II Releasing on PS5 Next Week

Publisher NiuGamer announced that it is releasing JSL Entertainment’s Chinese action RPG Fate Seeker II on PlayStation 5. The game will be available internationally on July 4, 2024, priced at $29.99. In addition, the company will be updating its existing PC release on Steam with English language support.

Fate Seeker II was originally released in Chinese on Steam in 2021, with its predecessor released in 2018. The game is set during Ancient China’s Northern Song dynasty. Players control orphaned swordsman Zhuge Yu, who sets out to eradicate governmental corruption. The game features an open-world map and a debate system used for players to solve mysteries, as well as the ability for players to mix different martial art styles in combat.

Mysteries and quests in the world see players interacting with figures based on famous Chinese detective stories as they find clues and information through exploration and interacting with citizens. Combat features over 100 moves and skills available through upgrade paths based on the bagua. Players can also form relationships with characters in the game as well as participate in mini-games and side content including fishing, Go, and cooking.
