Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Story Trailer Released

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware released a new trailer for Elden Ring’s upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The three-minute CG trailer sets the scene for the expansion’s story, which sees players following in the footsteps of Miquella and venturing into the Realm of Shadow.

Shadow of the Erdtree will release globally on June 21, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It takes players to a new map separate from the Lands Between, though technically occupying the same space. The new area is said to be around the same size as the area of Limgrave. The expansion will also include new bosses, weapons, and armour.

Elden Ring originally released in February 2022. It is an action RPG set in a world created by Souls series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin. The game features the mysterious Elden Ring, a power sought by many adventurers that bestows the title of Elden Lord of the Lands Between.
