Where Winds Meet Gets North American Closed Beta

Developer Everstone Studio announced a closed PC beta test for open-world RPG Where Winds Meet. This test is set to begin on April 19, 2024, and will be limited to the United States and Canada. Players willing to register for the test have until April 18, 2024, to fill the survey here or sign up on the game official website.

In Where Winds Meet, players take on the role of a wandering swordsman in the twilight of the Ten Kingdoms period in China, who must choose whether to uphold their moral code or live for themselves in a time ravaged by fighting. The game features fast-paced, Wuxia-style combat, and implements many aspects of Chinese martial arts. Exploration will allow players to scale walls, leap over rooftops, sprint over waves, or ride on horseback. It is also set to include various sandbox features, letting players take on roles such as a doctor or merchant as well as construct their own buildings in the world.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
