Mystical Tactics Announced

Solo French developer MormWare has announced that the turn-based tactical RPG Mystical Tactics will be making its way to PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam in 2024. The game, which is the first title by the developer, can be wishlisted on Steam and also has a demo available.

Mystical Tactics is set in a magical world where players are tasked with training a squad of heroes and leading them to victory over the dark lord and his army. The game features procedurally-generated dungeons and battles, making every playthrough a unique experience. Players will need to manage their resources and take advantage of strategic positioning to defeat powerful enemies such as goblins and dragons. Heroes can be customized using a wide range of classes, abilities and equipment, opening up a variety of builds and combinations that compliment them.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
